Hip hop singer blackbear took over the stage Wednesday night after Jaden Smith at the Fall Out Boy: The M A N I A tour stop at Viejas Arena. Singing crowd favorites like "idfc," "i miss the old u" and ending his set with "do re mi," his combined preforming charisma and dramatic stage set up had the stands going crazy and singing along. He kept his set entertaining by dancing with his signature moves out to meet his fans on the catwalk, shredding on his guitar and even letting his instrumentalists take center stage. blackbear sang each song with passion and paused his set to tell fans medical troubles he's been going through. After stating that this has been a long year of hospital visits and saying he has a terminal illness, referring to his recently diagnosed necrotizing pancreatitis, he told the crowd he's hopeful about his future and urged everyone in the room to let the person who they came with know they love them. blackbear gave an energetic, charismatic and sincere show-highlight of a performance. His next album, cybersex, officially drops November 27th, which is "Cyber Monday," his birthday and a day blackbear is scheduled for another surgery. The album will feature artists such as Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Machine Gun Kelly, Cam'ron, Rick Ross, T Pain, Tinashe and more. It can be pre-ordered here.
